Julian Huber
Julian Huber is the owner and winemaker of Weingut Bernhard Huber in Malterdingen, Baden, one of Germany’s leading estates for Spätburgunder and Chardonnay. After the passing of his father Bernhard in 2014, Julian took responsibility for the family estate at just 24 years old. Building on his father’s pioneering work, he has further refined the domaine’s style with an emphasis on precision, transparency, elegance and a strong expression of site. Today, Weingut Bernhard Huber is internationally regarded as a benchmark for German Pinot Noir, with renowned vineyards such as Wildenstein playing a central role. Julian also has a strong focus on Chardonnay and continues to develop the estate through careful vineyard work, high-density planting, selected Burgundy material and a restrained approach in the cellar.
